Share certificates offer a fixed interest rate that provides stability when interest rates fluctuate in the financial marketplace. Certificates earn a higher rate than savings accounts. The minimum investment is $500. If you have difficulty building a savings account, a share certificate will help you with your long term investment goals because you won't be dipping into a savings account.
