Who Can Use Remote Deposit

You may remotely deposit paper checks into your HRCCU Checking Account if:

  1. You’re at least 15 years of age

  2. You have an active HRCCU Checking Account in good standing

  3. You’re a registered user of HRCCU’s Virtual Branch

  4. You’ve downloaded the HRCCU Mobile App


Endorsing Checks for Mobile Deposit

When endorsing your check, please be sure your endorsement includes:

  1. Your signature

  2. Your Account Number

  3. The Date

  4. “E-Deposit”

Helpful Tips:

  • Using black ink will provide for a more clear image of your endorsement and can help expedite processing of your deposit.
  • Incomplete endorsements, or extraneous information in the endorsement area will prevent the acceptance of your deposit.


Imaging your check(s) for deposit

  1. Select “Mobile Deposit” in the Mobile App to remotely deposit a check into your Checking Account.

  2. Place your check on a flat surface when you take the image with your cell phone camera.

  3. Follow the prompts to enter the deposit amount and to photograph the front and back of the check.

Helpful Tips:

  • When photographing your check, place the check on a surface that provides good contrast.
  • If necessary, place a dark sheet of paper behind the check while imaging.


Remote Deposit Dollar Amount Limit

  1. The maximum daily deposit limit is $2,500.00

  2. There is no limit on the number of daily deposits, as long as it does not exceed $2,500.00 per day.

  3. The Mobile Deposit day is from 4:00 p.m. – 3:59 p.m. (next day)

Helpful Tips:

  • Deposits received before 4:00 p.m. EST on a business day will post to your account on the same day. Deposits received after 4:00 p.m. will be processed on the next business day.
  • Some exceptions may apply during holidays and /or special and emergency closings.
  • Save your printed, endorsed check in a safe place for no less than 60 days after transmission to HRCCU. After 60 days, we recommend that you destroy the original check.


Verification of Your Mobile Deposit

You can view the status of all items in the E-Deposit area of the Mobiliti™ Mobile App.

  1. Select “Deposit Status” and search by date range or dollar amount.

  2. Check status categories are: “accepted”, “pending” and/or “failed”.

  3. We will not accept: Third Party Checks, Non-US checks, Altered Checks, Postdated Checks, Money Orders, Traveler’s Checks, Tax Refund Checks and Stale-dated Checks.

  4. Deposit history up to 45 days.

  5. Member must keep the E-deposited check for 60 days from date of deposit. It is the member’s responsibility to securely destroy the deposited check.
