High Tech Services with a Personal Touch

We’re excited to offer our members the latest in banking technology with the introduction of our ITMs (Interactive Teller Machine).

ITMs look like ATMs, but include a video screen so members can see and speak directly with an HRCCU representative for help with their accounts or to make secure transactions. It’s just like video chatting on your smartphone.

Services offered by ITMs include:

  • Speaking with a Live Teller during business hours
  • Making Withdrawals
  • Depositing Cash and Checks
  • Making Loan Payments
  • Transferring Funds
  • And more!

We currently offer ITMs in the Corinth Branch drive-thru and Glens Falls Branch vestibule with our other locations moving to ITMs in the near future! The best part is you do not need to step inside or wait in line to speak to a representative or conduct your transactions. When using an ITM in our drive-thru or branch, you can either complete the transaction using the on-screen prompts or you will have the option to click the “Request Teller Assistance” button on screen and a live representative will come on screen to assist you with your transaction.

What is an ITM? 

An Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) is a banking technology which expands the functionality of traditional ATMs by allowing you the member to speak with a Virtual Teller and conduct transactions via video.

What is the difference between an ITM and an ATM?

Although ITMs and ATMs have similar interfaces, ITMs offer enhanced services as well as direct communication with an HRCCU representative

Why are we offering this service?

We are committed to providing our members convenient services along with the latest technology. Our ITMs are a great way for members to make quick transactions with an HRCCU representative without waiting in line at a branch.

What are the advantages of using an ITM?

We believe ITMs will provide greater convenience and a higher level of personal service. ITM functionality allows for greater flexibility and convenience for you. Increased adoption of ITMs will allow us to increase efficiency during peak times, and therefore better provide you with a quality experience based on your needs. When the ITM function is turned off the machine will operate as a normal ATM.

Who will the virtual tellers be? 

We will have dedicated ITM virtual tellers assigned from the Corinth branch to assist you with your transactional needs.

Which branches will have an ITM?

After the initial deployment is complete, the Corinth and Glens Falls branches will be the only ones with the ITMs. However, we do plan to deploy ITMs across all HRCCU branches in the future.

What types of transactions can I complete at an ITM?

  • Deposits: Single/multiple checks, deposits with cash back, deposits with funds going to multiple accounts
  • Account Transfers
  • Exchange or Break Down Bills
  • Cash Transactions: Withdrawals and deposits
  • Loan Payments: Auto, mortgage, personal, line of credit

What type of transactions/activities require me to enter the branch to speak to a teller?
