The Wait Is Over: HRCCU Is Now Open in Greenwich, NY

When we announced our plans to bring a new HRCCU branch to Greenwich, NY earlier this year, the response from the Washington County community was everything we hoped for. The need for accessible, relationship-driven banking in this area has been clear, and we’ve been working hard to make sure we’re ready to deliver from day one. We’re thrilled to make it official: your new local credit union is opening.

We’re Open: Visit Us Starting Monday, June 29th

Starting Monday, June 29th, Greenwich residents, families, and local business owners can visit their full-service credit union right on Route 29, next to Hannaford, designed to make in-person banking simple, personal, and genuinely close to home.

For too long, Washington County residents have had to travel outside the area or settle for big-bank experiences that don’t reflect the character of this community. HRCCU is different. As a not-for-profit credit union, we answer to our members, not shareholders, which means every product, every rate, and every conversation is built around what’s actually best for you.

Whether you’ve been waiting to open a new account, explore a home loan, start a business account, or finally make the switch from a traditional bank to a credit union that treats you like a person, the time is now.

What’s Waiting for You at 1167 State Route 29

Our Greenwich branch will offer the full range of HRCCU services that members across the Capital Region have counted on for decades:

Lower fees, better rates, and decisions made by people right here in your community. Our staff will be your neighbors, not a call center. When you walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by a team invested in the same towns, roads, and communities you are.

Banking That Stays Local

One of the biggest differences between a credit union and a traditional bank is what happens to your money. When you deposit with HRCCU, those funds stay in the community, supporting loans for local homebuyers, financing for Greenwich small businesses, and financial opportunities for Washington County families. It’s a model built on trust, and it’s one we’ve lived by for decades.

Expanding to Greenwich isn’t just a business decision for us. It’s a commitment to this town, to the surrounding communities, and to the idea that people deserve a financial institution that genuinely has their back.
