Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) is investing in the health and well-being of the Greenwich community with a $10,000 donation to the Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Battenkill Branch. The contribution to the YMCA’s Annual Campaign will help ensure that individuals and families throughout the region have access to programs and services that promote health, wellness, and opportunity, regardless of their financial circumstances.
The donation comes as HRCCU continues to grow its presence in Greenwich following the opening of its newest branch on Route 29, next to Hannaford. For the credit union, expanding into Greenwich represents more than an opportunity to provide financial services. It is a commitment to building lasting relationships, supporting local organizations, and becoming an active partner in the communities it serves.
“HRCCU’s commitment to Greenwich and the surrounding communities goes beyond opening a branch. It’s about being part of the community and supporting the organizations that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” said Chuck Pasquarell, HRCCU Board President. “We are proud to support the Saratoga Regional YMCA and its efforts to ensure that more local families have access to the programs and resources they need to stay healthy, active, and connected.”
The Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Battenkill Branch plays an important role in the Greenwich area by providing programs that support individuals and families at every stage of life. Through its Annual Campaign, the YMCA raises funds to provide financial assistance for memberships, childcare, summer camp, youth programs, and health and wellness activities. HRCCU’s contribution will help reduce financial barriers and make these resources more accessible to local residents.
“At HRCCU, we believe that making life better means more than providing financial services. It means investing in the health, happiness, and well-being of our communities,” said Sue Commanda, CEO of HRCCU. “The Saratoga Regional YMCA does incredible work to ensure that individuals and families have opportunities to thrive, and we are proud to support that mission as we continue to grow our presence in Greenwich and the surrounding communities.”
Hudson River Community Credit Union has a long-standing tradition of investing in local organizations that contribute to the well-being of their communities. As HRCCU continues to expand its presence in Greenwich and the surrounding area, it remains committed to supporting initiatives that make a lasting, positive impact.
