Double H Ranch Volunteer Day for Ambassadors

Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) ambassadors spent the day on Saturday, November 2, 2019, maintaining the grounds of Double H Ranch located in Lake Luzerne, New York, in the beautiful Adirondack Park.

Double H Ranch has an important place in our hearts since HRCCU cares about our local community — and some of our current employees have volunteered or worked there in the past.

We had so much fun cleaning up the grounds for few hours and enjoying a crisp fall morning at Double H supporting their amazing cause.

Double H Ranch

The Double H Ranch, located in New York’s Adirondack Park, is a demonstration of the commitment and generosity of philanthropist Charles R. Wood and actor Paul Newman.

Since the Double H officially opened its doors on July 4, 1993, it has served over 60,000 children dealing with life-threatening illnesses from around the world.

It was the second “Hole in the Wall Camp” in what has become a worldwide network of not-for-profit recreational and therapeutic experiences for children with serious illnesses.

For more information about Double H Ranch, how to get involved with the organization, and to learn how to donate, visit its website today.

Thank you again to our HRCCU ambassadors for volunteering.
