Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) has announced its officers for their 2021 Board of Directors: Charles Pasquarell, III, President; Dino Rosati, Vice President; Carol Ann Pacco-Long, Treasurer; and Thomas Uncher, Secretary. These officers will provide strategic direction for continued growth around HRCCU’s mission – to improve the well-being of members and their families by providing quality financial services.
“We are extremely grateful to welcome our 2021 board officers,” said Sue Commanda, CEO of HRCCU. “Each one of them provides our board with a unique background and perspective and we look forward to their continued expertise and guidance moving forward.”
“Being a part of the Board of Directors is a special privilege but also a significant responsibility. We are stewards of an institution that our members trust and have counted on for almost 70 years to be an integral part of their financial well-being. It’s a humbling legacy that every Board member is committed to safeguarding for many generations to come,” Dino Rosati, Vice President.
Charles Pasquarell, III (Chuck) became a member of HRCCU in 1990. He has served on HRCCU’s Board of Directors for over 20 years. Chuck was elected as a trustee to the Village of Corinth Board in 2018 and has served as Village Mayor since September 2020. Chuck is also volunteer firefighter in the Corinth Fire Department serving as Vice President. Giving back to the community and making a difference is also Chuck’s passion for his “day job”. He currently works for Saratoga County as the Facilities Distribution Coordinator. Prior to that, he worked for Four Winds as a Senior Mental Health Worker.
Dino Rosati, an electrical engineer by training, became a member of HRCCU in 1990 while working for International Paper. He appreciated the community affiliation and familiar faces he could always count on when visiting the local credit union branch. Dino developed an interest in HRCCU’s products/services and a strong desire to contribute to the credit union and the credit union movement. He joined the Supervisory Committee in 2011 and two short years later, he was appointed to the Board of Directors. Dino continues to work in manufacturing and business roles including operations management, site/plant general management, and product/marketing management. He is currently the Quality Manager – Battery Division of Hollingsworth & Vose in Greenwich, NY.
Carol Ann Pacco-Long was born in Corinth with strong family ties to HRCCU. Her uncle was one of the founding directors and her father managed the organization for almost 30 years. Carol is now retired after 40 years in the financial services sector. During her career, she worked with major industry brands and processors, such as Visa, MasterCard, FIS Global, and CO-OP Financial Services, Inc. She also facilitated state-wide conferences with national speakers, addressing topics on fraud and security, market penetration, development, and retention. For the last 30 years, Carol has volunteered her time and expertise serving on the Board of Directors for HRCCU.
Tom Uncher has been a member of HRCCU since 1985 when he started working at International Paper in Corinth. Tom’s long-term relationship with HRCCU, coupled with a desire to be involved with HRCCU’s mission, led him to become a Board Director in 2007. Tom has held the position of Board Secretary since joining the Board. Tom is currently Vice President for Brookfield Renewable Energy Group’s North American Operations where he holds executive-level accountability for 123 hydroelectric assets along 18 rivers in 5 states.
