Last month, HRCCU CEO Sue Commanda announced an exciting new upgrade to our members’ banking experience. The new system upgrade will officially roll out on Monday, July 18, 2022, and offers users a new level of convenient, personalized service.
Here’s a breakdown of what you need to know about the HRCCU system upgrade.
HRCCU System Upgrade Summary: What is Staying the Same
Although many exciting changes are coming with the new system upgrade, many of the tools and features that you already use will not change at all. These items include:
- HRCCU Visa debit and credit cards
- Existing debit and PIN numbers
- Automated deposits and withdrawals
- Personal and business checks
- Online/mobile banking User ID
- Mobile payment services
- Telephone banking number
- Routing and transit numbers
HRCCU System Upgrade Preparation
Critical elements such as your HRCCU Visa debit cards and PIN numbers will not change through the upgrade process, but other elements of your banking experience will be impacted by the change, including access to limited services during the weekend of July 15-18, as we prepare for the full rollout.
There will be a new look and functionality to certain tools and services, while others may be temporarily unavailable. The most impactful changes you should note include:
- HRCCU Member and Account Numbers: Your current HRCCU Member Number will become your Primary Savings Account Number. Account numbers associated with additional products such as share certificates and money market accounts will transition to new unique numbers. You can find these numbers in online banking or on your bank statements following the system upgrade.
- HRCCU Online Banking: During the upgrade process, the HRCCU online banking system will shut down on Friday, July 15 at 4 p.m. and resume on Monday, July 18 by 12 pm. Users can pre-register for the new online banking site to ensure access to their accounts by clicking here. The deadline to pre-register is July 11.
- HRCCU Mobile Banking: The current mobile banking app will become obsolete following the HRCCU systems upgrade. In its place, account holders can download the new and improved mobile app for both Apple and Android devices beginning Monday, July 18 at 12 p.m.
- Online Bill Pay: The online bill pay system will not be available during the upgrade weekend, but all previously scheduled payments will carry over into the new system.
- Statements: HRCCU paper statements have a new look, but it will contain the same information. For customers enrolled in eStatements, enrollment will carry over to the new system.
- Credit Cards: Although there will be no disruption to credit card use during the upgrade, please note that system information will not be available from July 7-19 as the system upgrade processes.
In addition to these changes, all HRCCU branches will be closed on Saturday, July 16 and reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 18. The calendar below summarizes the changes in the availability of the most popular HRCCU services, including mobile banking and online bill pay:
